So very nice! :)
The texture of the sand is lovely, and so are the colors and composition. Im not sure about that dark stone in the back.... but i would love to know if it has any reason, compositional or i dont know.

Nice idea!

Would definitely want to see this cropped much tighter.

It looks slightly unbalanced as per now imo. The main interest, the pebble in the lower left corner, is good. Keep the ratio 2 by 3 but crop of much of the top is what I would have done.

Also give it a push in saturation. Wants to see the sand glow here... :)
At least the red/yellow colors... :)

I rea;;y like the image, the bit I have a problem with is the strength of the out of focus area, I assume its done in photoshop. I cant explain it but it seems to hurt my eyes.. But as I said the idea and comp are great just the focus to out of focus transition feels wrong !

8+
edit, it seems to have 3 areas/bands of focus thats whats throwing me off !

Thanks for comments:) I'm not sure about that dark stone too StefyARH. And Patrick I'm trying your offers now. Brian out of focus areas are real I used f/1.8 here and this is the result. I can't do anything about out of focus areas, sorry.

Edit: I tried your offers Patrick here is the result. Old image is still available.

I like this! Look abstract, an image like a dream. Nice shot, dude!

Nice image. I might have cropped out the unfocused area below. Perhaps slightly for DOF behind the stone?

Lovely Mert :)
In my oppinion the top half of the shot isn't needed. A nice square presentation with just the pebble at the front would be to my taste :)

But hey, nice one all the same!

Nice textures on the focused area, but totally agree with A-H about the blured areas...!!
